Dan Nicolau

Dan Nicolau serves as a Professor and holds the Marika Zelenka Roy Chair in Bioengineering at McGill University's Faculty of Engineering, Department of Bioengineering. His research integrates bioengineering principles with micro/nano-fabrication techniques to develop innovative biomedical solutions.

His research focuses on dynamic hybrid nanodevices utilizing protein molecular motors on semiconductor devices, smart micro/nano-profiled surfaces for biomolecular probing, non-denaturating biomolecule immobilization technologies for biosensors and microfluidics, and biological intelligence algorithms inspired by microorganism survival strategies.
