Dan Koloski is the Head of Learning Programs and Professor of the Practice in the College of Professional Studies (CPS) at Northeastern University’s Roux Institute in Portland, Maine. He oversees all learning programs across degree and non-degree contexts, specializing in project-based experiential learning and analytics/software development applied to business challenges. Additionally, he serves as an adjunct faculty member in the College of Engineering’s Multidisciplinary Graduate Engineering (MGEN) unit and is a faculty affiliate of the Center for Technology Management and Digital Leadership.

Research & Teaching: Koloski focuses on organizational transformation through data-driven decision-making and hands-on pedagogies. He teaches courses such as ALY6080 Integrated Experiential Learning, ALY6980 Capstone, and non-degree programs in Analytics, Digital Transformation, and AI/ML. His expertise spans IT operations, cybersecurity, and enterprise software business strategies.
Experience: Prior to academia, Koloski spent 20+ years in IT/software leadership roles, including Vice President of Product Management at Oracle and CTO/Strategy Director at Empirix (acquired by Oracle). He actively contributes to the Portland arts community as founder and leader of the Roux Institute’s Department of Music, a choral group.
