Professor Dan Hicks (FSA, MCIfA) is a leading scholar in contemporary archaeology at the University of Oxford's School of Archaeology, Curator of World Archaeology at the Pitt Rivers Museum, and Fellow of St Cross College. His career spans roles at the University of Bristol and visiting positions at Boston University, Musée du quai Branly, and Freie Universität Berlin.
