معرفی
Dan Congrave is a Royal Society University Research Fellow at the University of Oxford's Department of Chemistry. His research focuses on designing organic molecules with tailored photophysical properties to advance technologies like solar cells, displays, and quantum information systems. Combining organic synthesis with computational and physical chemistry, his work addresses challenges in light absorption/emission efficiency and charge transport.
Research Interests include:
- Near-infrared emitting materials
- Efficient blue-light emitters
- Charge-transport optimized systems
- High-spin state luminophores
Recent publications emphasize thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF), organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs), and singlet fission mechanisms. His group explores molecular encapsulation strategies to suppress aggregation quenching in conjugated polymers.
Prospective students and researchers are encouraged to contact him directly via dan.congrave@chem.ox.ac.uk.
