Damien Stehlé is an Associate Professor at Télécom Paris and Scientific Director of CryptoLab, a Seoul-based startup focusing on homomorphic encryption and confidential machine learning. He holds a PhD from Université Nancy 1 (2005) and previously served as a CNRS researcher and Professor of Computer Science at École Normale Supérieure de Lyon (2012–2023).
Research Focus: His work centers on algorithmic aspects of Euclidean lattices and their cryptographic applications. Notably, he co-authored the Kyber encryption and Dilithium signature schemes, which were adopted by NIST as post-quantum cryptography standards.
Affiliations:
- Research Team: Cybersecurity and Cryptography (C²)
- Laboratory: Information Processing and Communication Laboratory (LTCI)
Current Projects: Advances in lattice-based cryptography, homomorphic encryption applications, and post-quantum security protocols.
