Daliah Zora Hauch

Daliah Zora Hauch is a Researcher at the Chair of History Didactics (Prof. Dr. Nicola Brauch) within the Faculty of History at Ruhr University Bochum. Her work spans educational outreach, social media representation, and historical research, with a focus on addressing antisemitism and enhancing history education through public engagement.

• Current Role: Research Associate at the Historical Institute, Ruhr University Bochum (since 11/2024).
• Additional Roles: Freelance guide and workshop facilitator at the Old Synagogue, Essen (since 01/2023); volunteer at Rivera Foundation (since 08/2021).

• Master of Education in History, Protestant Theology, and Educational Sciences (04/2020–10/2024).

Research Interests: Daliah’s work centers on history didactics, particularly strategies to combat antisemitism through educational frameworks (e.g., EMPATHIA project), public history initiatives (e.g., Yad Vashem exhibition tours), and integrating digital tools like social media into historical education. She also emphasizes inclusive teaching practices through volunteer and support roles in schools.
