Dale Edgar is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery at the UWA Medical School, The University of Western Australia. His research focuses on burn care, critical care, and surgical outcomes, with particular emphasis on pediatric dermatological emergencies, global burn survival trends, and patient recovery metrics.
Research Interests:
- Thermal burns and their management
- Emergency department protocols for dermatological presentations
- Economic determinants of burn survival rates
- Post-surgical rehabilitation strategies
- Patient-reported outcome measures in burn injuries
Grants:
- Overcoming Barriers to Clinical Application of Bioimpedance Spectroscopy Monitoring for Acute Burn Patient Fluid Resuscitation (2011-2011)
