Daisy Doan is a Lecturer in the Department of Finance at Deakin Business School, Faculty of Business and Law, Deakin University. She has been a full-time academic since 2012 and previously held research and teaching positions at RMIT University and the University of Adelaide.
Her educational background includes a PhD from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) in 2011 and a Graduate Certificate in Higher Education Learning & Teaching from Deakin University. She also holds a Graduate Diploma in Science with a major in Statistics and Stochastic Processes from the University of Melbourne (2018).
Daisy's research focuses on asset pricing and banking regulation, with strong methodological grounding in financial econometrics and risk modeling. Her work frequently explores the role of higher moments in asset returns, momentum strategies, and market reactions to corporate events.
