Daiga Behmane, PhD, is an Associate Professor at Rīga Stradiņš University, Faculty of Health and Sports Sciences. She serves as the Director of the Master's Programme in Health Management and holds the position of Lead Researcher at the Institute of Public Health, where she is also a Member of the Scientific Council. Additionally, she acts as the Administrative Manager of the Health Management Lecturer Group, contributing to academic coordination and program development.
Her research interests lie at the intersection of health management and public health, focusing on healthcare systems, policy, and administration. As an academic leader, she plays a pivotal role in shaping graduate education in health management, overseeing curriculum development and faculty organization.
Dr. Behmane is actively involved in research and academic governance within the Institute of Public Health. Her leadership extends to managing academic staff and contributing to strategic research directions through her council membership.
