Dr. Yang Deng is a tenure-track Assistant Professor at the School of Computing and Information Systems, Singapore Management University, and a Lee Kong Chian Fellow. Previously, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at NExT++ (National University of Singapore). His research focuses on Natural Language Processing, Information Retrieval, and Large Language Models, with special interests in Proactive Conversational AI, Trustworthiness of LLMs, and Human-Centered Information Seeking. He has published over 40 papers in top-tier venues including ACL, EMNLP, WWW, and SIGIR.
