معرفی
Mr. DAVID KREHER is a Professor at the Department of Chemistry, University of Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (UFR of Sciences). He specializes in designing π-conjugated organic materials for nanotechnology and optoelectronics applications. His research focuses on molecular self-assembly, polymer chemistry, and materials for sustainable energy. He coordinates the 'Molecular Materials: Design & Application' research axis and teaches courses in mass spectrometry, heterocyclic chemistry, and polymer science. Since 2020, he has been responsible for new transversal teaching units in undergraduate programs.
Education:
- HDR in Chemistry (Sorbonne University, 2017)
- PhD in Organic Materials Chemistry (Universities of Angers & Zaragoza, 2001)
- DEA in Fine Chemistry (Nantes & Angers, 1997)
- Engineering Degree in Chemistry (ENSCM Montpellier, 1995)
Research Interests: His work spans π-conjugated molecular architectures for nanophotonics and organic electronics, including supramolecular self-assembly, polymer semiconductors, and optoelectronic devices. Recent projects explore emissive materials for 2nd/3rd generation LEDs (phosphorescent and TADF) and spin transition materials for magnetism. He has secured 3 patents and 64 publications, with 27 international oral presentations.
Leadership & Grants: He led 2 Emergence Ville-de-Paris projects, 5 ANR projects, and coordinated collaborations with institutions in Japan, South Korea, Poland, and the U.S. His funding includes grants from CNRS, CEA, DGA, and international partnerships like the JSPS Core-to-Core program.
Teaching & Mentoring: Supervised 10 doctoral students (3 as primary advisor), 10 co-supervised PhDs, and 13 postdocs. Teaches across undergraduate and graduate levels, including innovative courses on 'Chemistry and Energy' and 'Materials for a Sustainable World'.
