Cæcilie Sloth Laursen

Cæcilie Sloth Laursen is a Research Fellow at the IT University of Copenhagen, affiliated with the Technologies in Practice department. Her research focuses on digital healthcare infrastructures, care work, data work, and ethnographic methodologies within Science and Technology Studies.

• Research Interests: Digitalization, Ethnography, Telemedicine, Sociotechnical Systems, Feminist Critical Pedagogy.

Recent Publications address hybrid healthcare settings (2025), feminist lab practices (2024), and pandemic-driven telehealth adaptations (2021). Her work often intersects with GDPR compliance, data governance, and patient agency.
