Cyril Moers

Dr. Cyril Moers is a Transplant Surgeon and Tenure Track researcher at the Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Groningen. His work focuses on kidney transplantation, emphasizing interventions during organ preservation to enhance organ quality and predict post-transplant outcomes. He led the scientific steering committee for the international Machine Preservation Trial and published key studies in New England Journal of Medicine. His current research explores pre-transplant organ resuscitation and evaluation, supported by grants including the Kolff Postdoc Grant and ZonMw Klinische Fellows Grant.
