Cyril JOUSSE

Cyril Jousse is a Researcher at the Clermont-Ferrand Institute of Chemistry (ICCF), part of the University of Clermont Auvergne. He currently holds the role of Scientific Referent of the PFEM Service and is a member of the BIOcatalysis and METAbolism (BIOMETA) team and the METAbolism thematic group. His research focuses on metabolism, environmental interactions, and atmospheric studies, with specialized expertise in biology, microbiology, ecology, and analytical chemistry techniques like mass spectrometry and metabolomics.

Education:

• Doctorate in Chemistry-Biology Interface (University of Poitiers)
• Postdoctoral research in plant metabolomics (UPJV, Amiens)

He has served as an elected representative (ITA-BIATSS) on the ICCF Scientific Council (2012–2016) and on the Hygiene and Safety Commission at ICCF. His work bridges environmental and biochemical systems, emphasizing interdisciplinary approaches.
