Cynthia Rider

Cynthia Rider, Ph.D., is a Toxicologist at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), part of the Intramural Research Division. She works within the Systems Toxicology Branch, supporting the National Toxicology Program (NTP) through research on chemical safety, exposure analysis, and health effects of environmental agents.

Her research focuses on toxicological evaluation of chemical mixtures, hazard identification, and mechanisms of environmental health impacts. She is based in Durham, NC, and can be contacted at cynthia.rider@nih.gov.
