Cynthia Lloyd

Dr. Cynthia Lloyd is an Associate Professor of Accounting at Grambling State University's College of Business, where she teaches courses in Governmental and Nonprofit Accounting, Auditing, and Accounting Information Systems. She holds a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in Accounting from Louisiana Tech University, alongside a Master of Professional Accountancy (MPA) and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the same institution.

Her research focuses on governmental and nonprofit accounting, municipal bond ratings, accounting education, student debt, and casino economics. Notable honors include the Larry Lundy Endowed Professor in Accounting, the College of Business Outstanding Researcher Award, and membership in prestigious honor societies like Beta Gamma Sigma and Delta Mu Delta.
