Cynthia L Salter

Cynthia L Salter is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Behavioral and Community Health Sciences within the University of Pittsburgh's Graduate School of Public Health. She serves as primary faculty for the Center for Global Health and directs the Global Health Certificate and Coverdell Fellowship programs. Her research focuses on maternal health, birth trauma, and human rights approaches to maternity care, particularly examining disparities and community-driven research methodologies.
