Cynthia E. Jones is a Professor at American University Washington College of Law, where she teaches Evidence, Criminal Law, and Criminal Procedure. She directs the Stephen S. Weinstein Trial Advocacy Program and has been recognized with the American University Faculty Award for Outstanding Teaching (2011) and the Teaching with Technology Award. Her work focuses on criminal justice reform, wrongful convictions, and racial disparities, with notable publications including Mastering Criminal Law (2025) and Mastering Criminal Procedure (2020). She also co-authored educational films on evidence and bail reform.
