Cydney E. McQueen

Cydney E. McQueen is a Clinical Professor in the Division of Pharmacy Practice and Administration at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Pharmacy. She completed a two-year fellowship in Natural Product Information and Research at UMKC, focusing on evidence-based applications for herbal supplements, non-herbal dietary supplements, and complementary medicine practices.

Her research centers on therapeutic uses of dietary supplements and medical cannabis, with teaching responsibilities including sterile/non-sterile compounding and cannabis medicine. She has edited Sigler’s Dietary Supplement Drug Cards and Pharmaceutical Care with Dietary Supplements: Concepts and Common Sense, and contributed to multiple editions of the Handbook of Nonprescription Drugs. She represented UMKC in the national Dietary Supplements Quality Collaborative.
