Curtis Icard is an Associate Professor in the Department of English at Utah State University Eastern. He teaches courses in College Writing, Literature, and Shakespeare, and has received six Outstanding Teaching awards during his career.
- Ph.D. in English Literature from the University of Rochester (Sproull Fellow)
- Master's and Bachelor's degrees in English from Kent State University (recipient of department creative and critical writing awards)
His research and teaching focus on English literature, Shakespearean studies, and creative/critical writing pedagogy. He has been affiliated with Utah State University Eastern since 1989, following its transition from the College of Eastern Utah.
Teaching Excellence: Six-time recipient of Outstanding Teaching awards.
