Curt Schurgers is a Teaching Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of California San Diego. His work focuses on embedded systems, wireless technologies, and underwater applications, alongside innovations in undergraduate education through active learning, project-based courses, and maker spaces. He co-directs Engineers for Exploration, a program integrating student-led engineering solutions with ecological and archaeological fieldwork.
