Cunlu Zhou

Cunlu Zhou is an Adjunct Professor at the Department of Computer Science, University of Sherbrooke. He holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Notre Dame (2019) and completed postdoctoral research in Computer Science at the University of Toronto (2019–2021) and at the Center for Quantum Information and Control, University of New Mexico (2021–2024).

His research focuses on quantum computing, specifically developing noise-robust utility-scale quantum algorithms, early fault-tolerant quantum algorithms, and studying quantum approximation algorithms for Local Hamiltonian Problems.
