Crystal Garvey is a Professor in the Nursing Program at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Durham College. She also serves as Adjunct Faculty in the Faculty of Health Sciences at Ontario Tech University. Her roles include contributions to undergraduate and graduate nursing education. She holds a PhD and MScN, alongside an RN licensure.
Her research focuses on Mental Health, Nursing Education, Theory Development, Anti-Bullying, Community and Social Innovation, and Anti-Racism. These areas emphasize evidence-based practices to address systemic issues in healthcare and educational environments.
