Crystal Barchacky is an Assistant Professor in the Occupational Therapy department at Shenandoah University's Health Professions School. She holds a Doctor of Occupational Therapy from Bay Path University, a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Winston Salem State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Methodist University. Her clinical expertise spans early intervention and pediatric outpatient settings.
Her research centers on trauma-informed care in pediatrics, intercultural activities of daily living disparities, military healthcare attitudes, and graduate student success strategies. She has presented findings at national and international conferences and previously served as co-chair of her state's pediatric occupational therapy association.
