Cristina Khan

Cristina Khan serves as an Assistant Professor at Stony Brook University, based in the Humanities Building (2117). Her academic work bridges sociology, gender studies, and ethnic studies through critical interdisciplinary frameworks.

She earned her PhD in Sociology with a graduate certificate in Feminist Studies from the University of Connecticut in 2019, establishing foundational expertise in intersectional analysis.

Dr. Khan's research centers on feminist methodologies, sexualities, race/ethnic studies, body/embodiment, Latina/o/x studies, qualitative methods, sex work, and women of color feminisms.
