Cristina Gualdani is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL), affiliated with the School of Economics and Finance. She holds additional roles as TSE Associate Faculty (Toulouse School of Economics) and Research Associate at CeMMAP (UCL). Her research focuses on econometrics, applied microeconomics, and network economics, with specific expertise in model identification, strategic interactions, and empirical industrial organization.
Dr. Gualdani earned her PhD in Economics from University College London (2017) and joined TSE in 2017. Her work bridges theoretical econometric models with real-world applications, such as analyzing board interlocks between firms and marriage market dynamics. She serves on the editorial board of The Review of Economic Studies and has organized workshops like the 2024-2025 'Econometrics and Models of Strategic Interactions' events.
Her recent publications include advancements in discrete choice models under imperfect information and network formation analysis. She collaborates actively with institutions like Vanderbilt University and the University of Naples.
