Cristina Cruz Gutiérrez

Dr. Cristina Cruz Gutiérrez is an Assistant Professor at the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB), specializing in Spanish Philology and Modern/Classical English Philology. She teaches academic English comprehension and interpretation courses for students in Art History, History, Economics, Tourism, and Primary Education programs. Her current academic year (2025-26) includes courses like Comprensión e Interpretación de Textos Académicos en Lengua Inglesa and Inglés I.

She is a member of the LITANGLO research group focused on Contemporary Anglophone Literatures. Teaching experience from the past five years includes roles in Legal English, Philology and Philosophy language courses, and Business English for multidisciplinary programs.
