Cristelle Audet is an Associate Professor in the Department of Counseling Psychology at the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Education. Her work integrates social justice theory into counseling practice, emphasizing culturally sensitive approaches and the impact of therapist disclosure on therapeutic relationships. She co-edited Social Justice and Counseling: Discourse in Practice (2018) and contributed to the Handbook of Counseling and Psychotherapy in Canada (2016).

She has supervised graduate students like Elisha Galit and taught courses including Professional Ethics in Counselling Psychology and Theories of Career Development. Audet’s leadership roles in the Canadian Counseling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA)—including past chair of its Social Justice Chapter and Ethics Committee member since 2010—highlight her commitment to ethical and justice-oriented practice.
