Craig Goergen

Craig Goergen is a Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Courtesy Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University's Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering. His research focuses on cardiovascular biomechanics, medical imaging technologies, and wearable health monitoring systems. Key areas include strain analysis in cardiomyopathy, 4D ultrasound applications, and translational medical device development. He leads interdisciplinary projects combining engineering and clinical insights, with a strong emphasis on advancing diagnostics for muscular dystrophy and heart failure.
