Craig Crandall, Ph.D., is a Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center, where he joined the faculty in 1996 and is affiliated with the Division of Cardiology. His research focuses on exercise science, sports medicine, and thermoregulation, with a particular emphasis on heat stress, cardiovascular effects of heat and humidity, and burn survivor research. Dr. Crandall participates in institutional governance as a member of the Promotion and Tenure Committee at the School of Health Professions, the Post-tenure Review Committee, and the Internal Medicine Tenure Track Research Compensation Committee.
