Cozar Bogdan Ionuț

Cozar Bogdan Ionuț is a Senior Researcher at the National Research and Development Institute for Isotopic and Molecular Technologies (INCDTIM), with a focus on molecular and biomedical physics. He has over 9 years of experience in research and is affiliated with the Department of Isotopic and Molecular Technologies, where he leads and participates in advanced scientific projects.

He specializes in advanced spectroscopic techniques like SERS (Surface-Enhanced Raman Scattering), AFM (Atomic Force Microscopy), and FTIR (Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy), applying these to biomedical and molecular detection challenges.

Cozar's projects include the development of SERS-PCA biosensors for pathogenic microorganism detection, rational design of antimicrobial peptides, and structural dynamics of DNA molecules. His work also explores ion sensing through modified cyclic peptides and biosensor fabrication using ink-printing nanotechnologies.
