Courtney Olcott is an Assistant Professor at Oregon State University, affiliated with the College of Health and the School of Nutrition and Public Health. She is actively involved in the OSU Extension Service and the Family and Community Health Program, based at the Josephine County Extension Service in Grants Pass, OR. Her work bridges academic research and community outreach, focusing on behavioral and mental health promotion.
Her research interests center on public and behavioral health, with a focus on substance abuse prevention, mental health promotion, and climate-related mental health challenges in rural and agricultural communities. She designs culturally responsive interventions and emphasizes community engagement and sustainability through grant partnerships.
