Courtney Keeler is a Professor at the University of San Francisco (USF), holding positions in the School of Nursing and Health Professions since 2011. She specializes in health economics and policy, focusing on adolescent health, mental health, and tobacco control. Her research explores smoking prevention, health disparities, and the economic impacts of public health policies.
Education: PhD in Health Policy and Management (UNC-Chapel Hill, 2012), MS in Economics (UNC-Chapel Hill, 2008), BA in Economics (UC San Diego, 2006 with Summa Cum Laude honors).
Her work has received funding through Tobacco Related Disease Research Program (TRDRP) grants, including a 2018-2021 sub-award examining Proposition 56's economic effects on low-income Californians. She was honored with the SONHP Teaching Effectiveness Award (2015) and Phi Beta Kappa recognition (2006).
