Courtney Burris

Courtney (CJ) Burris is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Management Science and Systems department at the School of Management, University at Buffalo. She holds a PhD and MS from the University at Buffalo, along with a BS from Elmira College.

• Education: PhD in Management (Major: Management Science and Systems, 2024), MS in Management Science, Business Analytics and Systems (2024), BS in Mathematics (Elmira College)

Burris specializes in social network analysis, engineering education with a focus on diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA), and sports analytics. Her research integrates network dynamics with public health and socio-economic factors.

She actively contributes to the Western New York startup community as CEO and co-founder of RHM Innovations Inc., which develops assistive technologies for daily living activities.
