Dr. Cosmin Ioan Roman is a Lecturer at the Department of Mechanical and Process Engineering at ETH Zürich, affiliated with the Chair in Micro and Nanosystems since 2006. His research focuses on solid-state micro and nanotransducers, spanning from traditional Silicon micromachining to carbon nanotube-based (CNT) devices for bio-sensing applications, with an emphasis on energy-efficient transducer concepts.
