Dr. Corrie daCosta is an Assistant Professor in Chemistry and Biomolecular Sciences at the University of Ottawa. His research focuses on ligand-gated ion channel structure-function relationships, particularly their roles in physiological processes, disease, and drug interactions. He holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Ottawa (2006) and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Mayo Clinic’s Receptor Biology Laboratory (2009–2015).
