Prof. Dr. Cornelia Silaghi is a veterinarian specializing in parasitology and a University Professor for Infectious Diseases at the Department of Biology, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Greifswald. She serves as Director of the Institute for Infectious Diseases (IMED) and leads the Vector Capacity Laboratory, focusing on tick- and mosquito-borne pathogens.
