Corlin Jewell, MD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, affiliated with the UW School of Medicine and Public Health. He serves as Director of Medical Student Education and Fellowship Director for Undergraduate Medical Education, while also acting as Partner Longitudinal Teacher Coach.
- Education: Undergraduate and Medical School at Indiana University; Residency and Chief Residency at University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics; Fellowship in Education at UW.
- Current Studies: Pursuing a Master’s in Health Professions Education at the University of Illinois-Chicago.
Dr. Jewell’s research focuses on residency training, curriculum design, and clinical efficiency metrics. His recent articles analyze resident workload, patient complexity, and integration of medical students in emergency care. He leads the emergency medicine medical student clerkship team and explores indicators of resident achievement.
