Corinne Jola is a Senior Lecturer at Abertay University's Department of Sociological and Psychological Sciences, where she merges cognitive neuroscience with performing arts research. Her work investigates embodied cognition through dance, theatre, and movement practices.
Key research areas include: 1) Neuroscience of dance perception and production; 2) Dance interventions for Parkinson's rehabilitation; and 3) Empathy and embodiment in performing arts contexts.
