Corinne H. Mowrey serves as a full-time Assistant Professor in the Department of Engineering Management, Systems, and Technology at the University of Dayton's School of Engineering, specializing in optimization methodologies for industrial systems design.
Education:
- Ph.D. in Industrial and Human Systems Engineering from Wright State University
- M.S. in Industrial and Human Factors Engineering from Wright State University
- B.S. in Civil Engineering from The Ohio State University
Research Focus: Dr. Mowrey's work centers on developing analytical and heuristic optimization techniques for facility layout design, with direct applications in manufacturing efficiency and logistics systems. Her interdisciplinary approach bridges industrial engineering, human factors, and supply chain management to solve spatial arrangement challenges in production environments.
Professional Background: Prior to her current faculty position, she taught statistics and supply chain courses as an Adjunct Instructor at both the University of Dayton and Wright State University, and gained industry experience as a Project Engineer at PSI, Inc.
