Corinne BINET is a Lecturer at the University of Lille, affiliated with the Department of Physics within the Faculté des Sciences et Technologies (FST). She is part of the Materials and Transformations Unit (CNRS UMR 8207), specifically the Polymer Systems Engineering research team. Her work focuses on transport properties of nanostructured conductive polymer composites, with a particular emphasis on recycling and sustainable materials. She has co-supervised the thesis of Van Hau VO LE on PLA/carbon nanotube composites for thermoelectric applications.
Her research spans thermoelectric materials, polymer electrolytes for Li-ion batteries, and recycling of e-waste components such as liquid crystals. Key collaborations include with Valérie GAUCHER and Jean-François BRUN. Her team actively publishes in journals like Crystals, Journal of Molecular Liquids, and Physical Review E.
Publications highlight advanced material characterization techniques (dielectric spectroscopy, thermal analysis) and interdisciplinary applications in energy and environmental engineering. She contributes to lab resources like the PMEL - Lille Electron Microscopy Platform and participates in national/international conferences on polymer science and materials engineering.
