Corien Prins is a Full Professor of Law and Informatisation at Tilburg Law School, Tilburg University, serving as Dean since 2013. She leads research on technology regulation, privacy, and digital governance. Her career includes roles as Director of TILT (1994–2008) and membership in the Scientific Council for Government Policy (2008–2013). She supervises PhD students in areas like data privacy and digital democracy. Active in editorial boards (e.g., Nederlands Juristenblad) and advisory councils (e.g., Netherlands Academy of Technology and Innovation). Current projects include 'Public Values in the Algorithmic Society' (ALGOSOC).
