Dr. Cori Crews is an Associate Professor of Accounting at Valdosta State University, where she has taught since August 2017. She holds a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from Kennesaw State University, a Master of Accountancy from the University of Georgia, a Bachelor of Business Administration from Valdosta State University, and an Associate of Arts from Waycross College. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and maintains professional memberships in the American Accounting Association, Georgia Society of CPAs, Georgia Association of Accounting Educators, and Georgia Philological Association.
Her research explores financial accounting, auditing practices, corporate governance, and technology integration in accounting. Key areas include regulatory impacts on audit quality, non-attest services, and pedagogical innovations in accounting education.
