Corey Pulido is a Teaching Instructor in the Department of Management at the Miller School of Entrepreneurship, College of Business, East Carolina University. He teaches entrepreneurship and plays a key role in expanding entrepreneurial education across campus through the entrepreneurship certificate program and initiatives like the Pirate Entrepreneurship Challenge.
Corey earned his BSBA and MBA from East Carolina University, balancing his academic pursuits with twelve years of professional experience. He is deeply involved in community entrepreneurship, running three family businesses and leading a non-profit animal sanctuary focused on rescuing at-risk dogs.
His research and teaching interests center on practical entrepreneurship, small business development, social ventures, and fostering entrepreneurial mindsets among students and youth. He actively mentors high school students and judges pitch competitions, promoting innovation beyond the university setting.
