Cora Snyder

Cora Snyder is a Water Policy Lecturer at the Bren School of Environment, University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB), and a Senior Researcher at the Pacific Institute. Her work focuses on balancing social, environmental, and economic dimensions of water through policy solutions. She teaches ESM 225 Water Policy and contributes to initiatives like the UN Global Compact CEO Water Mandate and California Water Action Collaborative.

Education:

• Bachelor’s in Environmental Studies (with Spanish minor) from UCSB
• Master of Environmental Science and Management (MESM) from Bren School, UCSB

Research Interests: Cora’s expertise spans corporate water stewardship, integrated water management frameworks, and behavioral science applications for residential water conservation. She has previously explored environmental water markets and legal aspects of water policy, emphasizing cross-sector collaboration.

Labs/Teams: Active within the Pacific Institute’s research teams and the Bren School’s environmental policy network. She was a Sustainable Water Markets Fellow during her MESM program.
