Constanza Miranda is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Johns Hopkins University. She leads the BME Design Team program and focuses on the intersection of design anthropology, medical technology, and engineering education. Her work emphasizes user-centered design, pre-engineering education for underrepresented groups, and bridging academia with industry through collaborations. She previously founded DILAB at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and co-founded Simulmedic, a medical simulation startup.
