Constance Hall is a Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ). She specializes in Biofluid Mechanics and has contributed extensively to research in Thrombosis, Computational Flow Modeling, and Biomaterials.
- Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, University of Memphis (1995)
- B.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering, University of California, San Diego (1986)
Her research focuses on biofluid dynamics, computational modeling of vascular injury, and microparticle deposition in thrombus formation. Recent work explores vacuum-sealed flow chambers and irreversible bacterial adhesion on biomedical surfaces.
Publications span computational hemodynamics, thrombosis mechanisms, and clinical translation of biomedical devices, with a strong emphasis on in vitro modeling and medical simulations. Her collaborations include work on rTFPI and multiple tether detachment in bacterial adhesion.
- Support of Scholarly Activities (SOSA) Award, TCNJ (2023)
She teaches courses including Biofluid Mechanics, Physiological Systems, Neural Engineering, and Biomaterials, alongside Engineering Design and Mentored Research programs.
