Constance Brouillet is a Lecturer at ETH Zurich's Department of Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering. Her research focuses on ecosystem services and participatory approaches to landscape transformation, particularly in urban environments facing climate challenges like flooding. As a doctoral researcher in the Future Cities Lab Global Tana project, she examines sustainable infrastructure development in Antananarivo, Madagascar.
Her work employs surveys and serious games to engage stakeholders in co-designing solutions for food provision, flood regulation, and recreation. Parallel research explores human-river relationships to enhance river protection.
Publications demonstrate consistent focus on citizen perspectives in environmental management, with recent work examining pandemic-era recreational space accessibility and participatory river conservation approaches.
