معرفی
Connor O'Pray is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Oxford's Department of Engineering Science, affiliated with the Oxford Thermofluids Institute (OTI) and the Oxford Turbine Research Facility (OTRF) group led by Professor Paul Beard. His research focuses on developing novel cooling technologies for gas turbines using experimental methods in high-speed rotating rigs. He has industry experience with Rolls-Royce and Reaction Engines, complementing academic work at Oxford and Cambridge.
- Education:
- MEng in Aerospace Engineering, University of Bath
- MRes in Gas Turbine Aerodynamics, Whittle Laboratory (University of Cambridge)
- PhD in shock wave–boundary-layer interactions, University of Cambridge
Research interests include turbomachinery, heat transfer, compressible flow, and heat exchangers. He co-supervises two DPhil students and collaborates on infra-red thermography and cooling technology development. His work aligns closely with Rolls-Royce's industrial analysis workflows.
