Connie Stout O’Dell is an Associate Professor of Education and Chair of the Department of Education at Glenville State College. She also serves as the Director of Teacher Education Field Placement and received the Curtis Elam Professor for Teaching Excellence Award in 2020.
- Education: Undergraduate in Elementary and Multi-Categorical Special Education (Glenville State College); Master’s in Elementary and Early Education (West Virginia University).
Her professional activities include leadership roles in the West Virginia Association for Young Children (President), Southern Early Childhood Association (Board of Directors), and affiliations with Delta Kappa Gamma and the West Virginia Reading Association. She co-advises the Glenville State College Early Education Student group and the Student Reading Interest Group.
